I love this gadget.....I purchased the silver and black version. I thought it was aluminum and plastic but it is not it’s completely plastic. However it seems to be sturdy enough. I purchased another gadget similar to this where you pull down a button and the cards slide out however the cards were not snug and could fall out. I notched a small groove on the money clip and added a lanyard so I could wear it around my neck....as per photos I uploaded .

I enjoyed the built. Easy card access. Definitely not stratch resistant. Keys in hand will leave your case look like a used up quarter. Not sure of the company is going for the used look but if so, they got it after two days.

**Update (10/3/16)After using this waller for over two years, it still holds up well, no cracks or any signs of it breaking due to aging. However, one thing I want to point out is, use after use, your cards will lose the grip it once had and will begin to slide out easier than usual. Eventually, it'll be to the point where the cards might slide out on its own, posing the risk of the card getting lost.I posted pictures of my own remedy of fixing this issue. When you open up the wallet, you'll find that the cards are held in place by two poles on the opposite side of each other, insulted by some rubber compound. Over time, this compound (on the side that is face the cards edge) gets worn out. By rotating this rubber compound 45 degrees, you'll have fresh new exposure and the cards will be, once again, firmly in place. Take a look at the photos attachedThis method works just fine for me. You have to pay close attention to taking this wallet apart, however. The springs that provide the sliding action for the buttons may shoot out when taking it apart. If that spring lands on a carpet floor, it's a good as lost so be careful during this(original review)For me, this wallet is really convenient. I hardly ever have cash on me so it's all credit / debit cards for me along with my drivers license and such. For a small amount of cash, the back side has a decently strong clip, but I might keep an eye on it if you're tossing your wallet from one pocket to another. The design is well and simple looking. Not heavy at all, but it could be somewhat cumbersome in the front pockets of some jeans, totally depending on your size. For me, this generally isn't a problemNow, here is the kicker with owning this wallet. Sooner or later, you WILL impress somebody to the point where they WILL ask to check it out, literally. Every time this happens to me, I just can't get enough of it. I love how no one else I encounter has ever seen anything like this. Makes me feel like I own something extraordinary. The only con I can think of is the money clip in the back develops this "green tint" around the edges. I'm going to assume this is just the dirt that gets picked up. I tried cleaning it off isopropyl alcohol and did not do the trick. I didn't try anything else because it is subtle, but ehh, maybe later I'll try other cleaners.I easily recommend this to anyone who is going all digital with their currency.

When I received this wallet, I realized it was a returned item. Some of the inserts were missing and others were popped out. I nearly sent it back. I’m glad I kept it.I haven’t fished for a card since I received it. The inventive design is genius and works spectacularly. The cards are held in place through sheer friction of a rubbery material in every slot that holds a card. It’s starting to lose its friction after the cards have been taken in and out so much, specifically one card in particular that I use quite frequently. But the cards still stay in the wallet even when it is turned upside down, and I bought this unit about 8 months ago. Any wallet has it’s wear and tear.Wish there were more slots for cards. Besides that, this wallet is probably the best I’ve owned.

I actually have one of the original versions of this and have used it successfully for many years. I got another one because I noticed the old one had loosened up a little and one of the cards was not stable in it. So I thought perhaps it would be safer to get a new one. To be fair to the old carrier, I should mention it loosened after one of the cards was updated to a new look and finish. The problems started with the new not raised design of the card. The new one is smaller, lighter and much tighter which are all good things. The only problem I see it even though it has the same number of slots, it does not accept the same number of cards. I have put one of the lesser cards under the money clip. I'm keeping the old wallet as a backup card carrier. It's clearly going to take some time to adjust to the new one.

This is a replacement for a similar ACM Wallet, which I have had since 2003. It made it 15 years! Sure, it was beat up pretty badly...but it was a 15 year old wallet, and the mechanism still worked! I hope the new model endures as well.

I used to be a trifold guy. Then about four years ago I switched to a money clip with a magnetic clip. I loved it, but it just kept erasing things like hotel cards, rewards cards, etc. I decided to opt out and go for this wallet. It certainly gets a lot of attention. I feel like every cashier is asking me what it is.It holds 6 cards and you can label them however you want using the included tabs. There is enough space in between the cards so they aren't physically pushing against each other. Holds a good amount of bills using the clip part. Overall, this is exactly what I wanted in a wallet.Only con, a little bulky but, I can live with it.

Best wallet i have every had. Probably will use wallets like these for the rest of my life. Removed the money clip since i didnt need and the only thing that will make it 110% amazing is adding a leather case for it on the company's website. Definitely going to order one for mine.

I LOVE this - purchased one 2 years ago after a co-worker showed me his. I am now puchasing my 2nd because the back hook has come off (you can buy replacements) but also because I've dented it enough so the cards don't slide properly. But 2 years is a pretty good deal at this price. It comes with stickers so you can label the slots the way you want to organize your ID, credit cards, social security etc. I've been asked MANY times where I bought it. They're fantastic for organizing all of your cards and other IDs. It's about a half-inch thick, so you COULD put it in a big pocket but I keep mine in my purse. No interference with my cell phone or anything else.

The wallet has a very unique look to it. I'm not saying it's nice or ugly. Forums reason it reminds me of the Delorean used in back to the future. Looks like something the doc would have been using. One seller said these have been around unchanged since the 90's and I believe them. However, the function of the wallet is as advertise. It's not as slim as I had wanted it to be. But it does take up less room in my pocket than a traditional tri fold wallet. The slide switches are really close together so at times you might retrieve 2 cards at the same time. The switches do work well though. And the wallet holds you cards firmly in place. It also lets you get the card you want out faster without the hunt or your wallet holding the card for ransom. It does hold only 6 cards and that's fine for me. I only use 2 anyways. People complain about the money clip but mines hasn't broken yet. It's been about 6 months since I've had it. I use it to hold stray cash and receipts.

To save you the time of reading a novel-like review, I will list the Pros and Cons of this wallet.....Pros: Very durable, mechanism is smooth and hasn't failed yet, small size, cards are secure and DO NOT touch, buttons are easily interchanged, organizes cards simply and saves time at the checkout.Cons: Small flimsy cards will not work as well, can't store it in your back pocket (per manufacturer), "nerd-tastic" gadget (per my wife). Now to explain my heading for this review. This wallet is fantastic if you are a minimalist, don't carry your wallet in your back pocket, and don't typically have a lot of cash on you. Also my wife was a bit skeptical after viewing the pictures that Amazon and ACM provide on their website. Upon receiving the wallet she and I were quite impressed as to the overall feel and quality of the wallet. Highly recommended product if you are organized, cash-less, and a self-proclaimed Nerd.
