The High-Speed Wireless Charging Stand. The wireless evolution of Anker's world-famous technology uses a high-efficiency chipset and an internal cooling fan (the first of its kind) to provide the fastest possible wireless charge in its class. 10W Fast Charge Mode: (Using Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 Adapter) 5W Standard Charge Mode: (Using 5V/2A Adapter). Metal attachments, expandable grips, or credit cards will interfere with charging. This wireless charger is fantastic. I have this at my job and I love that it is an upright charger. Its perfect for my desk because of my screen setup and so if I get a phone call/text, I can easily just look at the phone to unlock it to view the text or simply swipe to answer. I would recommend this product because of the dependability and quick charge nature. This is my fourth Anker product and I have yet to be let down. The only con I can think of is this not coming with a charger block to plug into, but I just bundled this with a quick charge Anker block to complete the product. You could use this with an iphone block charger. I gave this a 1 star under the category of "For Traveling" because in my opinion, this is more of a stationary set up. Yes, it is smaller in size and not as bulky as some other wireless chargers, but I bought this for the purpose of staying at my desk the whole time. Not packing it up and taking it with me wherever I go. But you could do that if you want.
I can’t tell you how happy I am with this charger. It is so convenient to just set the phone down on this and not be fumbling around for a cord. I keep this on my night stand to charge while I sleep. It is very sleek looking and charges my IPhone X unbelievable fast. If you do buy this make sure to buy a quick charge wall plugin to go with it. I purchased the Anker Powerport with one usb plug-in and it works perfect for my needs. Highly recommend if you are wanting to make the switch from cord to cordless. I put it off for some time but am very happy I finally did. It comes in a very well packaged box with setup instructions, a customer service card, and a technical data booklet
These charging devices are terrific - until they stop working. This hands free charging pad concept is terrific. My wife and I have one at each of our office desks and at our bedside cabinets. The dilemma we have is that each of these lasts 4-6 months and we have to toss them and buy new ones. Personally, I feel that they should last far longer for the money. The company should invest it's effort into creating chargers that last far longer .The appearance of the chargers is substantial. They appear well built and as indicated - when new, they are simply terrific. they charge fast and dependably. Until they don't . If you are willing to accept replacement as a cost of the convenience, then these are fabulous.
Honestly, this charger is a bit odd. Received today and tested with Accubattery running on my Pixel 5 and this charger charges at 3.75W. This is rather odd since it doesn't charge at 10W or 12W like the other Anker Qi chargers I have on hand. It also doesn't charge at the slow 5W speed either that the Anker Powerwave (without the cooler fan version) does.I honestly expected this to charge my Pixel 5 at 5W to 10W at least. A bit disappointed. Debating if I should keep this charger or not.Edit 11/19/20 - Made incorrect assumption with charge current displayed by Accubattery. In AccuBattery, this is displayed as mA units with the assumption of input voltage (aka USB 5V). As such, I get a reading ~750 mA which is 0.75A. If you multiply this by 5V, then you get 3.75W which is frankly abysmal charging speed.
Works well. Nice not to have to plug phone in to charge. I have an Otterbox case and it charges just fine. I’ve got three other upright black Anker chargers as well similar to this one and they all work well. Just be aware it doesn’t come with a plug for the wall outlet. You need a purchase or have a spare. Not all plugs are the same either. Standard Apple phone plugs I don’t think provide enough power.I’ve also read other reviews about the charger suddenly stop working. Mine did the same. Long story short is make sure your phone software is up to date. Once I did that it was working again so it wasn’t the charger. I had contacted Anker via email and they got right back to me so kudos to their customer service.
I absolutely love this charger! I've never had a wireless charger before, so I admit there is no competition to compare it to, but I'm sick of wires and am so glad I landed on this one. Someone I know recommended Anker and said I would not be disappointed, and they were right. It's a solid product with a great build, sleek look and nice feel. Very small footprint, perfect for bedside (where I'm using it) and for work (I'll be getting another). I love that it keeps your battery safe by turning off when the charge is full so i can keep it on the stand worrying about over-charging. I've tried a couple of different phone cases (including a wallet style) and have no issues. You do need to purchase a compatible AC adapter, but I got the Anker Quick Charge 3.0, which also looks good and powers nicely, and am quite happy with it. I have a Qi enabled LG G8, and this fits and charges like a dream. Anker is quality. Definitely worth every penny.
As this was my first wireless charging experience, I did a lot of research online and read a lot of reviews. It worried me when I read that Apple finally gave up on their wireless AirPower mat. Too many technical issues - maybe their 3-in-1 charging aspirations were too high. Anyway, I purchased this Anker product because it received great reviews and I have experience with their USB charging stations.Pros:- sleek and well built- weighs just enough to stay in place- has a very small footprint on my desk- having it standing up instead of laying down flat, allows you to still use the phone while charging (and Apple Face ID works)- uses two charging coils- the LED light is a nice feature and it's not too bright- no fan, so no fan noise- it stays at room temperature when charging- there is no "sweet spot" to worry about; if your phone is on the charger, it's charging!- it works equally as well in landscape and portrait orientation- the micro-USB plug is very tight (it's not going anywhere)Cons:- the micro-USB plug is very tight (maybe you want to plug and unplug it??)- somewhat expensive for not including a charging block (although a good quality lightning to USB cable is $10-$15 alone, so maybe $29 isn't terrible for a cable and Qi wireless stand)- it doesn't have a fan (but it doesn't get hot, or even warm for that matter)I just bought a second one so I could have one at work and home.
This charger stand is Inexpensive and well made, like everything else I've gotten from Anker. I have one suggestion to improve the product however. The stand has a ledge on the bottom that the phone rests on. For iPhone X and Xs users, this ledge is in the way when you want to swipe up from the bottom (the gesture that replaces the home botton). I might modify the stand with a dremel tool to carve out a notch from that ledge, though this modification will doubtless void the warranty. It's not impossible to do the swipe up from bottom gesture with the ledge there, but if there were a finger-sized notch in the middle of the ledge, it would be easier.
My iPhone XR went from a 56% charge to 100% in an hour and 33 minutes. As stated, it came with no AC adapter. I chose one that put out 2.1 amps at 5 volts. Watts = current X voltage. So the power output is 10.5 watts, more than enough to charge my iphone. It's quiet, has a small footprint and the LED in the front does not double as a night light. Anker sells a similar one for $19.99, but I went with the 29.99 version. This wireless stand is getting 5 stars from me.
The product works as intended, however if you have a magnet in your case or on your phone it will not work. I have a thin magnet on the inside of my case for my car mount and it will not charge with the case on. So whenever i want to use it i need to remove the case which is kinda inconvenient. Im not sure if it was stated anywhere on here that it wouldnt work with magnets but beware if you in that boat it wont work out as well.
I purchased two of these and appropriate chargers for my new Pixel 3 only to find out that Google has instituted a proprietary version of qi for quick charging so while this says it is fast charging, it is only charging at 5W. Not worth investing the extra money if you have a Pixel3.*************As a follow up Anker once again proves that they stand behind both their products and are top notch in customer service which has always impressed me as I've been a multiple repeat customer of their products for years. They reached out to me and offered to let me return them even though the products are not defective, it's just a previously unannounced swerve by Google. The products themselves are sturdy, and of standard excellent Anker quality. Despite the fact that I could not return them fully as my wife threw away the packaging the same day I got them, they have chosen to issue me a partial refund which I think is very generous of them. They are working on a version of this that is compliant with the Google proprietary wireless fast charge capability so if you have a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL keep your eye out for that as well as I will be.
Anker is simply the best. These chargers are well designed, well built, and very fairly priced. They charge fast and look great. I also love how powerful the coils are...my starts charging instantly once dropped on the stand even if it hangs off to one side and isn’t completely centered. Also, the little blue light on the front is really cool looking but most importantly VERY dim. I was worried about that since I keep mine by my bedside, but they are so incredibly dim that they are not a bother and are truly just a nice touch. Killer product. Look no further for a 7.5 iPhone charger.

The charger looks great and works very well too. It is fast and works like a charm.
I opened the box at 9:30am to test it out for use while at work and it's now noon and I just ordered 2 more of these to use at home! This charges my Samsung S9+ quicker than any other wireless charger that I've ever used and it does it easily through the Ottebox case. I'm a dedicated Anker fan, all of my past orders have been high quality items but this one takes the cake! I can't wait to get the order I just placed, my son is going to flip when I give him one!
UPDATED: Anker customer service was superb with handling the issues. I was able to get a replacement. The replacement works as described on the Note 9 and on the Note 8. Both show Fast Charging when on this charger. Just to note, I am using this with the Samsung wall charger that came with the Note 9 and a Anker Quickcharge wall charger. This also charges my iPhone 8 plus faster for those who want to knowI bought 2 of these and I have tried a Note 8 and a Note 9 on these and neither are showing fast charging. Really unfortunate because I really wanted to add a few of these around the house. Just to be sure I tried several different Anker cables and the cable that came with this charger. I also tried several Quickcharge adapters. Very disappointing
