SoundCore Infini Soundbar is a great looking soundbar that produces clear and crisp 100 W sound with perfect non overwhelming bass through its built-in mini sub-woofers. Soundbar comes in a secure and sturdy box with enough cushioning to prevent it from any accidental damage. The Soundbar speakers are covered with a black metal grill all around giving the product a nice seamless look.In the box, you will also get a power cord, remote control with batteries, 3.5 mm to RCA audio cable, digital optical cable, wall mounting bolts and brackets, wall mounting template and user manual. The soundbar also has ports for digital coax and aux connection. Soundcore has made sure that you are able to use this product out of the box by providing all possible ways to connect devices including the connecting to the wall using the mounts. :-)The soundbar is very easy to set up and is pretty much plug n play. The optical cable provides an excellent quality connection with the TV compared to Bluetooth connection which Iuse primarily to connect my phone. The soundbar has an excellent immersive sound. The surround effect created by the Soundbar is also great and produces very clear dialogues. Sound and effects reproduction is very crisp. Infini Soundbar also comes with a remote for ease of use, volume control, mode changes, etc. It has music, movie and dialogue mode (enhanced mid-range for clear dialogues) and the soundbar output adjusts automatically based on the selected mode. Similar to other Soundocre products, this soundbar has BassUp technology for a deeper intensified bass which is not chest thumping but will blow the popcorns away.Overall, this is an impressive Soundbar and every music node or sound coming out of the TV is much better. It definitely adds a punch to the movies, sports and music.Solid product by Soundcore and Anker.
A fairly unique scenario lead me to buy this. I had tower speakers in my living room which I had to get rid of.I didn't want a soundbar, but no bookshelf speakers were going to match the "look" my wife desired for our living room as we just redid the furniture and walls. So now here I am looking for soundbars and I didn't want to spend more than $150 because at that point just go buy bookshelf speakers and a Class D amp. This soundbar actually sounds great when watching movies and it looks really nice on the wall. Music is decent, but again, you don't get the stereo separation and image with a soundbar.Would highly recommend to anyone in the market. Anker makes great products and this is no exception.Edit: after about 60 days of use I’m not as impressed as I am with all my other Anker products. Unless you use the dialogue mode movies just don’t sound good. I have a hard time discerning what’s being said. As there’s no EQ settings other than movie, dialogue, music, I often find myself switching between the 3 depending on what I’m watching. Music sounds good when streamed so to me it seems like there’s got to be a way for movie dialogue to sound better without dialogue mode as that really cuts back the bass from movies.
Great value for the price. I had a sony soundbar with wireless sub, the sub died and I didn't want to mess with another set up like that... I've got 3 boys under 7yrs old. So I took a chance on this. I've had good luck with other Anker products and this does not disappoint. Sounds much better than tv speaker on my Sony which are pretty good as far as built in speakers go. I have not cranked it up all the way yet but the volume seems to be more than adequate. Clarity is good as well, after many years on a construction site my ears are pretty shot, so this is a big plus for me. Over all I think this is a good value. Is it going to sound as good as a full component stereo system? No. Does it do what it's intended to do giving adequate sound quality to a medium sized room? Yes. The bass is present but not overwhelming not underwhelming either. I think the trebble is a bit crisp but with this style of small drivers its inherent. Im actually thinking of picking another one up cause its such a good value. I was not disappointed, you probably won't be either.
It did not play well with my Vizio TV, difficult to get it to pick up the sound. I gave up and finally just swapped it out to my Toshiba TV and there it worked much better. Still remote does not seem to connect with the bar that easily and often have to press buttons several times before you get a response. Also flashing light with different colors is not always easy to interpret what is happening. Sound is good and love the base it ads to films. Got this to bump up the sound when I use netflix or prime which do not want to go thru my surround sound system which I run thru my blue-ray player. Works great for this limited use, but will not replace a surround system.
For the price I paid, I am happy with my purchase. I have it hooked up to my bedroom TV, and the sound quality is a significant step up over the TV's speakers. If all you're looking for is better sound than what your TV speakers can provide, this is a great entry-level product with a very low price of entry. For the price I paid, I really have no complaints, and I think it's a good value. With that said, here are some things to watch out for.First, I'm going to pick on something because it's specifically advertised by Anker: "Room shaking bass". I have a home theater system in my living room with a subwoofer that costs about 5 times the cost of the Soundcore Infini. If I turn the volume up high enough on a movie, the pictures fall off the walls. This is the very definition of room-shaking bass. What the Anker puts out is nowhere near that level. It's better bass than what you will get from your TV speakers, but if you're expecting impressive bass, move along (and upmarket to a higher price point).Next, the remote. It's fine. But to my knowledge, you can't control the soundbar with any other remote than the one that comes with it. This leads me to believe that it's probably connecting to the remote via Bluetooth as a cost-savings measure. After all, it already has Bluetooth built in, but an IR receiver would cost extra. I have a Harmony Hub-based remote in my bedroom, and it would be really nice if I could use that to control the soundbar. As it stands, I now have to use 2 remotes instead of 1.And finally, the EQ. This has already been touched on quite a bit, but the "Movie" EQ preset makes it difficult to understand male voices, because it amps up the bass too much in the range of male voices. So it's not a particularly effective preset. "Dialogue" is good for news programs, and that's about it. This leaves the "Music" preset. I usually just keep the speaker set on Music. It's a good overall preset that works for just about everything. But it would be nice to have other EQ presets that were a bit more useful. So there you have it. For the price, this is a good product, and I'm happy with it. But in this price range, you're going to be making sacrifices. To me, the most annoying sacrifice is that other remotes don't work with the soundbar. But as long as you know what you're getting, and you're OK with the sacrifices, it's a good product for the price.
**UPDATE** 2/22/19Anker reached out to me and sent me a replacement unit free of charge. I’m going to test the optical port and let the speakers break in over the next week or two and see how this unit sounds and performs. Customer service, as always with Anker, is top notch! The overall sound is decent for the price I paid, $67 on a lightning deal. Very full sound stage and nice build materials. I still haven’t been able to get my Optical audio going, I’m only getting static, I’ve tried multiple cables and still nothing. The one deciding factor though is the lack of support for volume control on the new 4K Fire Stick remote. I bought this so I could limit remote usage as much as possible.I have a Samsung HW-N400 that has more features and is smaller, but still produces good sound. I think after the Soundcore breaks in, it might sound better and louder. Currently, it’s only louder. For $67, I’ll probably keep it but may try to get a new unit because I definitely need the Optical port to function.
We had an old home theater setup for our brand new HDTV. After so many years of use, it had long since started cutting out, powering down, and just being a general nuisance. We needed a speaker system because our HDTV was on the lower end, and so its speakers were just tinny and small sounding. After digging through dozens of options for a new home theater system, I considered a sound bar. I had heard they were a good compromise for people trying to find something with a good sound, but also didn't take up a lot of room or have a bunch of wires going everywhere.I was hesitant because many soundbars start at $100, and that was outside of my budget. So I looked over the sound bar options, and saw this listing for the Anker Soundcore Infini. The price was good, but was the quality? I decided to risk it, and I have to say I am relieved I made the right choice! The sound fills up the room, when you have it switched to movie or music, the bass is strong enough to shake the floor, and when you press the dialogue switch, you can hear every word said by the characters on screen, which is a much needed feature for many modern films. You cannot go wrong with this sound bar. If you need high quality room filling sound but don't have a lot of money, this is the one you want. Five stars!
Update: After submitting my previous review (see below), the seller contacted me and offered refund or replacement. It was a great service. +1 star for the good service.Original Review: I connected it to my Fire TV 4K with Bluetooth. It has a noticeable audio lag, which is annoying when watching TV and movies. I switched the audio connection using the optical cable that came with the soundbar. It solved the audio lag problem but it caused anther one. Now I need to wait for 5 to 10 seconds until I can hear the sound when the TV is turned on...It is a great looking sound bar. The sound quality is decent with this price. But the connection problems are very annoying.By the way, it does not pair with the New Fire TV remote that controls your TV's volume. It's not a big deal for me because I can still control the volume with this soundbar's own remote.
UPDATE: I returned the Soundbar without contacting AnkerDirect for troubleshooting. I was refunded once the item shipped. However, AnkerDirect's Customer Service Manager reached out to be to apologize for the issue I had experienced, and offered to send me a new soundbar. I explained that I had already been refunded. She emailed back and said that they wanted me to have a good experience, and would send me a new soundbar even though I had been refunded. I was honest, and told them I had bought a used one locally. They emailed back, and said they still wanted me to have one...At this point I replied with something like "If you want to send me a free soundbar, sure." I assumed they'd re-read the emails and take back the offer. Instead, they confirmed my address and shipped me a brand new soundbar (again, I had been refunded and had purchased a different one). My son was home the weekend that the soundbar arrived, and I sent it home with him. He's a recent USMC Vet, and is setting up "house", so it will be a welcomed addition for him. I can't speak to the quality of the replacement soundbar, but the 3 stars in my review are are reflection of the AnkerDirect customer service I experienced. Much more than I expected.Original Review:Setup was simple with the included optical cable, and it only took a few minutes to get it all hooked-up and paired to my phone. I watched some TV and all was well - sound was OK. Not "Room-Shaking Bass" as advertised on the box, but I did not expect that since there was not a separate Subwoofer. It was OK for the $55 I spent. But once I tried to change inputs or turned it off, I had problems. It would connect ("Beep!"), but no sound would come out for Bluetooth. Then I lost Optical input as well. Fiddling around with the remote, inputs, and power cable would get it back on for a moment, but any change would shut it down. Boxed-up and going back. Will spend more $$$ for a better brand.
Generally audio sounds good enough for my lame ears. I keep it on the dialog setting, otherwise speech sounds a bit boomy. Got it to enhance speech compared to my tv speakers. Unfortunately I will not be keeping it and will be forced to spend a lot more money. Which is a shame since the price was right for me and I generally like the Anker brand.I mainly watch on my tv from 3 sources; Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Blu-rays. When hooked up to the tv through the optical connection no sound comes through the sound bar when 5.1 is the output. I get a bit of initial crackle and then silence. With Netflix I can usually select the 2.0 audio stream and then sound will play fine from the bar. But with Amazon Prime, you can't select multiple audio or subtitle streams. They only output 5.1 if it is available. So this sound bar is useless to me without a 5.1 decoder. For Blu-rays, it seems like my player auto down mixes the audio for me, so it played fine there. For the price I don't expect an amazing sound field, but in order for it to be useful for me I need it to be able to at least decode 5.1+ streams and convert it into output for the bar. (Yes I tried setting the TV output to PCM.) Connected to a Panasonic TC-39AS530U through optical cable.Anker did include an optical cable, which is very much appreciated. Some sound bars do not.On further use, I've found that if I use the nVidia SHIELD TV for Netflix and Amazon Prime, then output to the sound bar works well enough. Considering the price I paid and the hassle of returning it I might make do and get used to using my SHIELD for pretty much all my TV watching. The only other small annoyance is the remote has a very limited range, requiring direct line of sight. Since the speaker already has Bluetooth, maybe a Bluetooth remote would have been a nice feature. Anyway the problem will be easily remedied when I get around to programming the speaker remote into my Logitech Harmony remote.Tl,dr:Does not accept 5.1 audio sources. Might work for you if your TV can output stereo down mixed streams from 5.1+, if not you will hear no sound.
This sound bar is solid in construction. The setup and use is very easy and quick. The sound quality is great and has 3 settings.Music setting has great sound with lots of bass and volume.Dialogue setting which removes the bass and makes it easier to hear voices. This setting is what I primarily use.Movie setting has too much bass which drowns out the voices so it is prettymuch useless. I did speak with Anker regarding this and they may be able to fix it in the future.I contacted Anker about 2 weeks ago regarding an issue where my neighbor connected via bluetooth to my speaker. I cant get their TV to disconnect from the speaker. I'm still waiting for a response. I can't connect via Bluetooth because of this issue and I'm getting really tired of hearing The Voice on max volume when I turn the speaker on.
I need to review this Anker SoundCore Infini Full size sound bar because it is a really great product. First off, we bought a new TV last christmas and it was GREAT! Everything about the TV was nice and spot on except for the built-in speakers. I knew we needed to buy a sound bar to get some extra sound into our small bedroom, but since these are a 'big buy' for my family because they cost more than $100 on average for something quality, we waited. With a coupon and gift card from my birthday (woot woot), I picked this Anker Soundcore Infini. I'm already familiar with Ankers Products and their sound and build quality and endurance, it was an easy decision to go with this brand over VISIO, SONY, or others that are way more expensive for the quality I wanted. After a week of using this Sound Bar I can tell you honestly that I'm glad I purchased this one. It is very strudy in the construction materials used. The sound drivers over all the high, mid, and low frequencies are BOOMIN, crystal clear, and in many cases it has a "3D audio sound". What I'm hearing is not echo, I can actually hear distance between people talking on the screen and action sequences much like you would hear in a new movie theater or expensive surround sound system. I hope this make sense, but even if it doesn't, I love the sound watching TV.I'm even more impressed with using this for music when connected to my phone via bluetooth. HOLY CRAP the quality and volume is actually impressive and sounds amazing on the entire floor of my house. The only critique I have is actually from my wife who has issues with new tech no matter what it is. She couldn't figure out how to change the audio source from bluetooth to the optical input that goes directly to the TV. I will say that it takes the sound bar a little bit of time to switch over, but it does. I would actually suggest an engineering change to the inputs on the device and remote to make this process hopefully simpler, but I know that the product engineers do all they can to streamline everything they make. The other thing that I'd suggest when buying this is to decide how you're going to connect this to your TV and go ahead and buy a longer audio cable out of the gate. Anker DOES supply you with two options that are of basic 2-3ft length which would sufice if you are mounting or sitting the bar in the direct vicinity, but remember you will need some slack if your TV is mounted on a TV stand or is away from your power outlet. There is a paper mounting template and brackets in the box. It is very simple to use if you've mounted anything to your walls before. Just make sure you're drilling into the wood studs or using drywall anchors. The last thing you need is your sound bar crashing to the ground after vibrating out of the nice drill holes you made without anchors.I will add pics from my phone later. If you have any questions let me know. Do not be afraid to buy this unit. The price for what you are getting in quality will impress you.
It you don't want or need to spend a lot for improved TV sound, then the Infini could a be a good alternative for you. It's compact, doesn't cost a lot. and it should make your TV watching a lot more fun. Of course it doesn't sound nearly as good as a full 5.1 or 7.1 speaker set-up or even a soundbar with a separate subwoofer. But this simply is a good bang-for-buck soundbar (with a built-in subwoofer) that should be fine for use with any secondary/smaller TV or if you are on a budget or don't have a lot of space. Setting up and figuring out how to use the Infini was a little tricky however since (1) the instructions are really skimpy; and (2) it was hard at first for me to tell what mode the soundbar and/or the remote were in (Maybe a small LCD on the soundbar or some LEDs on the remote would be helpful).
I'm not an audiophile; my ears are very average. In my non-expert opinion, this sound bar rocks! Even just watching an episode of Survivor allows you to pick out the distant rumble of thunder, the hiss of rain on the fire pit during tribal council and the sinister undercurrent of the backing music.I mostly bought this on a whim based on good experiences with other Anker products, and the price point was right. I didn't have an issue with sound on my TV, other than fighting the balance between scenes and during commercials, which I think is common these days. I am very pleased. I didn't realize how terrible my TV sounded until I plugged this in. For an apartment dweller or someone who doesn't want to have a full surround sound system placed all over their room, this is a great product.
I purchased Anker's new soundbar to try and get a little better sound from the 39" Vizio smart TV in my bedroom. At $90 on sale, I figured it was worth a try. After receiving and connecting the soundbar, I tested out the sound from the TV (connected via optical cable) and from Spotify via my phone and the Bluetooth connection. I wasn't blown away by the sound, but it was a step up from the TV's speakers and about what I expected for the price. With the initial test complete, I hoped to be able to control the soundbar from my TV's remote, so I read through the manual but didn't find anything about it. I contacted Anker tech support and was informed that it can only be controlled from the included remote. Bummer...Next, I started playing with some of the various settings on the soundbar and found that changing the sound modes via the Anker remote was activating menus on my Vizio TV. If you're never going to change between dialog, movie and music modes you probably won't have a problem, but it was quite the difference in sound quality between the modes and I could definitely see myself wanting to do that somewhat regularly. That said, having it call up menus when doing this and then needing to use the Vizio remote to cancel them out was a deal breaker for me. I contacted Anker about this as well and they basically just said "sorry, we'll send you a return label and issue a refund".I applaud Anker for actually responding to questions, and for a no-hassle return on a product that I'm not satisfied with, but seeing as how Vizio is one of the biggest names in TVs these days I'd expect they should have avoided this problem in the first place. One last note... again, this is a $100 (or less) soundbar, so I can't imagine anyone is expecting too much, but there is only one small LED indicator that gives you any sort of feedback on what is happening. It flashes white when the volume is going up or down, then holds steady when max or minimum volume is reached. It flashes or stays steady on a few other colors for other modes and features then turns off after a few seconds. I'd much rather have a small LCD to show more clear indication of what's going on, or an HDMI connection that can show some on screen info like the higher end soundbars have.Update - After returning the soundbar I was contacted by Anker customer support who apologized for the unsatisfactory experience I'd had with it. As a token of goodwill, they offered to send me a free Bluetooth speaker for my troubles and they followed through with that offer promptly. I received the Anker Soundcore Boost in the mail a few days later and it is quite impressive for a small, battery powered speaker and has the added benefit of being able to act as a backup battery bank for any USB devices you have. I again applaud Anker for outstanding customer support and will not hesitate to try more of their products in the future! I have updated my star rating to 3 from 2 as honest and caring companies like this are hard to find these days!
If you have hearing issues when watching TV. Hard to make out dialogue? GET THIS! It actually has a button you can push on the remote that is for making dialogue clearer. Solved my problem!!
I've been debating a soundbar for a while now, as since I've had toddlers the idea of having an expensive surround system set up became a distant memory. My issue was always that they were relatively expensive and were, for me, a stopgap until I could get everything set up again without worrying about kids yanking cables and whatever else they're prone to doing. After an unfortunate incident with a kid tossing something at our old TV, we got a replacement and the audio was, well, if you own a modern television set, you know the pain. Most televisions have built-in speakers that sound tinny and were clearly skimped on to keep the price of the set competitive. So, the casual search for a soundbar began again. On a whim I typed in "Anker soundbar," although I've never seen one before.I've had an Anker SoundCore bluetooth speaker for years now that I still use daily and it still holds up for battery life, audio quality and usability compared to anything else I've had. Lo-and-behold, I found this. No reviews, $100 and figured why not, right?I've had it a few days now and I'm really happy with the results. Has a nice, full sound and at $100 it serves as a great way to flesh out the sound in a room without needing a lot more stuff. It absolutely won't replace a full surround system or anything like that, but if you're sick of your TV speakers this is a no-brainer.
