I’ve been a hardcore Anker fan for years, and they’ve done it again with the Infini Pro! I have the original Infini and let me say, the Pro is a huge step up! Sound is booming, and the Dolby Atmos surround is superb. Pictured is the original Infini above my television, and the new Infini Pro below. Did a comparison and the Pro is a great upgrade! Great detailed audio and room shattering bass all in one unit! I’ll still be using the original Infini in my bedroom, but the Infini Pro will be going in my home theatre for sure. Anker and Soundcore does it again!
I have been fan of Anker company and its customer service since 2012 when they initially launched their cell batteries and now they have become such a big company, I get excited when they launch new product but I must admit I haven't used any of their sister company i.e. soundcore's product so I was skeptical at first but when you get Dolby Atmost for $200, it should be a good deal right. well kind of.... the trade of is that, integration is not as flawless as Samsung, Bose or Sonos... You must thing I am crazy comparing Sound Core to name brands right ?? However, the thing is Anker always made a product which meets or beats name brands quality so naturally I was expecting same thing and 80% of the time they deliver to ..but with this sound bar its a hit or miss ...They don't mention it but, there is no Wifi integration to this product and controlled via app though bluetooth which might be slow or sometime unresponsive... I also hated the fact that you have to long press the remote power button to power on and limited to Movie, music or mode...I would love to see if it automatically detected what I was watching and switch the mode...Oh well you get what you paid for...I was really happy with the sound quality though, it is at least 100x better than the Vizio I returned which claims to have all the bells and whistle. Sound quality is pretty close to flawless and there is no sync issue... I watched Avengers End game again and I got pretty close to theater quality sound. :)
As an audiophile o pay close attention to sound quality, especially live music, I stream HiFi or Master only, so with that being said, this unit carries every element of ofvsiund to near pure perfection. Dolby Atmos adds that extra and final touch of total mmersion. I will say that this unit at 199$ is a very close competitor my previous sennheiser system that was about 10 years old. Now, I will say most misic apps dont stream hifi, Apple music is barely SD and no option of a real EQ, pandora, Amazon i think offer HiFI and depending on device maybe an 8 band EQ or just presets. I use Tidal and Boom, Boom For the customizable 16 band EQ and 3D sound option. Sound from 4k shows and movies is amazing as well, great bass and in unit sub woofers so no extra box on your floor. Remote sucks BUT there is an app which blows the remote outta the water. ⁰1foe 199 this unit has amazing sound audio sound when.propeely streaming and more than adequate sound from TV as well,.
I've waited a month to review the Infini Pro to be sure of my observations because I was frankly confused by some of the lower ratings, to each their own. Not sure I would have looked at this at all except that I'm a Soundcore fan as the Flare + is my go to blue tooth speaker. This good looking, simple to use soundbar is designed for smaller rooms and that describes my family room. It connected instantly to my 2018 TCL series 5 tv via hdmi arc and we've experienced none of the delay issues listed elsewhere. We stream 100% of our content so I cannot comment on Atmos as the TCL does not support it. This is the third soundbar I've tried. The first was a Vizio with a separate sub woofer optically connected. I thought it performed well for tv and had better bass due to its separate sub woofer. My wife would not tolerate the separate subwoofer or the fact that it required the use of the Vizio remote for power and volume control. The Vizio did a poor job on music as whatever channel reproduces voice was shallow. I tried a lower price unit that did not meet my expectations and also required a separate remote. The ability to use the TCL/Roku remote to control power and volume is wonderful. The first Infini Pro received had a slight vibration in the left channel at high volume. I contacted customer service and they instantly issued a return authorization and shipped another unit. Whatever you think of Anker/Soundcore products, they've got a GREAT customer service department. The new unit installed just as easy and there was no vibration. The infini Pro has a full sound that does not neglect mids and treble while providing more than adequate bass and it gets loud. We have an 11 year old projector and a HSU ventriloquist system in the basement so I have good idea of what a surround system should sound like. No single bar system at this price can reproduce that. We got ours using the $50.00 coupon at Amazon for $179.00. The decision to buy was easy at that point. It easily out performs the Bose Solo and comes pretty close to the Sonos Beam that costs twice as much.A bonus to the Infini Pro is the way it handles music. We do not have a stereo system in the family room and never streamed music over the stock tv speakers. This thing has amazing fidelity for the price. I know it's not a $3,000 stereo system but again for the price it has great performance. We stream music all the time now through the tv or Bluetooth. The one drawback is the IR remote. C'mon Soundcore this is 2020 IR is obsolete. This soundbar needs the ability to connect to a network. Could've deducted half a star but everything else meets or exceeds expectation.
THIS IS A UPDATE TO MY REVIEW OF THE Soundcore Infini Pro, after posting that it Would not work right when paired with my Amazon Fire TV Edition Toshiba TV that it had issues controlling the volume and the sound was nothing special, I was contacted via email from SoundCore Support Team, saying thank you for your feedback. and Please feel free to test a replacement Soundbar, that's right I didn't even contact them they reach out to me. so five stars on the customer support!!! the replacement Soundbar came and it did not have the issue controlling the volume on my Fire TV Edition Toshiba, so that was great , and also found out that Dolby Atmos is not supported Through the Fire TV Edition Toshiba TV Dolby Vision yes Dolby Atmos no!!! so after pairing Soundbar with the Apple TV that did support Dolby Atmos, and watching several movies with Dolby Atmos, was very surprised and happy with the sound, so if you're looking for Dolby Atmos we don't have a lot of money to spend, I would give the Soundcore Infini Pro a try, and Thank you SoundCore Support Team for your help and reaching out,
I've done SO much research on sound bars. I was somewhat intrigued when I stumbled across this one. Dolby Atmos, great looking and a few other thoughts. Here's a few thoughts. Bear in kind I'm not an engineer but am good at retro fitting.THE GOOD:I like the design and size. It also comes with an additional HDMI port which is only seen on higher end sound bars. The remote is very functional and works well.THE NOT SO GOOD:Atmos feature; bear in mind that this sound bar shares its built in subwoofer speakers with the Atmos feature. That doesn't work folks. The 2 subwoofer's point upward instead of firing downward. When I played video containing Atmos content, I could hear the subwoofer's bass output competing with the Atmos output. The bass is muddy with little to no low frequency definition.WHAT I'D FIX:We know this isn't an expensive sound bar but with a few changes, it could be a real competitor. Here you go Anker, time to raise your game. Your sound bar COULD house a center channel speaker for 3.1 sound. You COULD place 2 subwoofers in a downward firing position and have the Atmos speakers remain in their current location. You COULD include a wireless separate subwoofer. I know this may add a few dollars to the price, but it would enhance this sound bar to a level that could compete with the big boys and save the consumer money also.I'll be returning mine very soon.
The soundbar gets loud, has a great deep bass, and clarity that I wasnt expecting. It's also self-contained, so you just have to worry about where to put the soundbar itself; no additional subwoofers to worry about. It even comes with wall mounts if you prefer that. My gripes are that every now and again the soundbar wont output sound, causing me to turn it off then in again to fix it. It happens randomly, but not frequently. I would've complained otherwise. The remote has all the functions you need to tune the soundbar, it just doesn't have a lot of range in my experience. Not that big of a deal, just worth mentioning. The main problem is that it has a tendency to cut out the beginning of videos, music, movies, etc. That I find annoying, but it's only for a couple of seconds. I'm willing to deal with all of that because the dolby atmos effect is pretty good. It's probably not going to be as good as the Sony's, Samsung's, Vizio's, etc., but it's about half the price of those mentioned soundbars that have that technology. Also, the way these things are priced, it's not trying to compete with the $400+ soundbars, its competing with the $200 soundbars. For an extra $50 or less, you get a loud soundbar with Dolby atmos. That's a deal. And at the time of this review they are $229 with an additional $50 off coupon. At that point, there's no competition.
I love great sound. I have Bose NC Headphones, Bose Bluetooth Earbuds, and a Bose Wave Radio. I love the sound that those devices produce. When we got our new Samsung 65" TV we were looking for something to replace our Vizio Soundbar. I first tried a Samsung Soundbar Combination but it didn't have HDMI ARC hookup. So I returned that. I began looking again. I don't have the budget to spend $500-$800 for a Bose Soundbar. I would love to but just can't. So I just stumbled upon this soundbar. I know it has many things that I have no idea what it is like Dolby Atmos etc. I have so many Anker Cables, Chargers and Power Strips I was confident in this purchase. I took it out of the box, hooked the HDMI ARC cable up to the soundbar and then into the TV. The TV immediately recognized the soundbar and that was it. I can change the volume of the soundbar with the Samsung TV remote which is nice. I also downloaded the Soundcore App. It is easy to use and the user interface itself is very user-friendly. Nice addition. The Soundbar does come with an HDMI cable but I used a UGREEN HDMI cable I already had. It sounds great. It doesn't have quite the bass a unit with a subwoofer would have but hey it sounds better than the tv speakers. Once again I am very pleased with this purchase and if you are looking for something easy to hookup and sounds really good and only want to spend about $200 this is the one for you. Thank you, Anker, for another great product!
I wanted to enhance the sound from my LG 65C8 Oled with Dolby Atmos. This unit turned out be a great value and compromise since my wife would not tolerate multiple speakers or loud sounds and wires in our apartment. It took a while to work out some of the kinks in using it with the LG but I think I got it. It is crucial that you turn off any power saving or or sleep modes on your LG TV or other inputs like AppleTV otherwise the Soundbar pass through might turn off. Atmos is not Cinema worthy but good enough for my purposes in and apartment with a wife that can't stan loud volume.
Works fine, but I am having an issue with hdmi passthrough for dolby atmos. I have my xbox connected to the soundbar and the soundbar connected to the tv. It works okay at times, but the sound occasionally goes out. This doesn't happen if I connect the xbox directly to the tv instead, but I understand this means I can't use dolby atmos. Is this a common issue and is there a way to fix this?
This soundbar is AWESOME!!! keep your eye out on it and if you want to buy it do it with the $50 off coupon. This thing is worth $250 but I picked it up on a lightning deal for $199 $50 off of retail I have tried many soundbars with and without bass this one is a 2.1 with built in subwoofers. It sounds really good in surround sound mode. Dolby Atmos sounds great if you have a flat low ceiling. Fantastic all in one soundbar no need for a separate subwoofer. Product looks sleek and is a nice low profile and will fit in front of most tvs without blocking the screen. I have both TCL 6 series tvs the 65 inch and the 75 inch. GO BIG OR GO HOME!!! This soundbar paired immediately with the TV thru HDMI Arc. Make sure to go to the settings on your tv and make sure the soundbar is showing up in your CEC LIST. Very important. Give this soundbar a chance and you will love it. It does a good of a job as it can being only an all in one soundbar. The BASS sounds AWESOME. Do not listen to any reviews that say the Bass is not loud enough it's plenty LOUD. I live in a Condo so I do not want to blow my neighbor's out of the water. If you live in an apartment or condo this thing is PERFECT. Make sure to have the surround turned on. It has 3 settings voice music and movie. The dialogue is crystal clear. The audio is fantastic. You will know that you are recieving a dolby atmos signal when the surround button light turns from white to blue. White is regular surround and when it turns blue it is in Dolby Atmos mode. Hope this all helps to make your decision easier. FYI nice small and compact without the need for additional speakers and wires everywhere. One last word of ADVICE. I researched a lot before buying this particular soundbar. THIS THING PAIRS WITH AND IS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN ON THE TCL 6 SERIES TVS. Almost bought the Yamaha Yas 108 but I read problems with it pairing with TCL tvs so I went with soundcore and couldn't be more pleased. TCL tvs are the BEST!!
I purchased this to use with a brand new Toshiba 4K Fire TV Edition w/ Dolby Vision. It sounded pretty good for the price and definitely way better than the built-in sound, although I wouldn’t say the Atmos playback really sounds anything like a real Atmos setup, which I actually have in another room with my reference system and LG OLED display. Anyway, this just would not work properly with the Toshiba via the HDMI ARC channel. It keeps making the volume display on the TV turn on every minute or so and when changing the volume it jumps up or down by 5 or 6, it won’t move in increments of 1 as it’s supposed to. Anker was good in first sending me a replacement that unfortunately had the same issues, so now they are going to issue me a full refund. I’m disappointed this couldn’t work for me because I was looking for a low cost soundbar that had 4K passthrough and handled Atmos that I could use on this inexpensive, secondary TV. Thankfully Anker’s support was really good about everything.
I have really enjoyed this soundbar since getting it. I always disliked watching movies because our tv speakers are horrible. Even in movie mode all dialogue is now clearly audible and there's an obvious improvement in every way above the tv speakers. Now I can't wait to re-watch all the Marvel movies with my son, and we'll be able to hear everything so I don't have to keep pausing to explain and/or rewinding because he couldn't hear what was being said. It can get loud without getting distorted, and has good clean bass despite its size and lack of large subwoofer-sized drivers.
