Great little camera to add to my arsenal. I use it for several things but the most impressive use was videoing a wedding ceremony. Coupled with the Bluetooth module I set it on a pole up on the altar looking back toward the church and guests. So small it was hard to see. It was a great angle that I wouldn’t be able to get because I couldn’t have a manned camera up there. The Bluetooth connection allowed me to monitor the view and change camera angle from the back of the church. And the quality in room light was very nice.

This Gimbal device is fantastic, and it still isn't finished yet. DJI is still releasing updates along the way. My main desire for getting this is for vlogging, I wanted to start a youtube channel, but I didn't want to carry the OSMO mobile 2. It just wouldn't be as flexible of a device for me.This is so small that I can bring it into restaurants and set it down while I walk around the place as it's tracking me ( Like a personal camera-man ) you cut the need for so many different camera angles. The microphone isn't an issue for me since I use an external digital recorder (Tascam DR-40) for voice capture, this way I'm not limited with the distance I can have the OSMO pocket away from me.The tracking is spot on, just don't be silly and wack the thing around like a boomerang. You move it just like you would the OSMO mobile 2, slow and easy. This is meant to stabilize, but like anything you can only go so fast before you reach the limits of this technology.I won't lie, I love this thing, BUT I wrote this review because the one stars on this product are absolutely insane and completely unwarranted. Watch ONE youtube video review of this device, and you'll see that all the people who gave this a 1 star did even visit the DJI website ( which is crazy if you think about it, they invested 350$ blindly). Four of the 1-star reviews are people who didn't read the darn manufacture description. No Micro-USB? of course not! PEOPLE PLEASE!JUSTICE!

Not perfect but all in all a small quality camera that shoots 12mp and up to 4K 60 frame movies. You can easily stick it in the case in your pocket and have it out in seconds ready to shoot. Slo mo 120frames works well and is sharp. Only drawback is it zooms in some so if vlogging you can’t get your whole face in unless you use an extension. Mentioned by another reviewer the adapter won’t plug into your phone if it has a case on it. I got around this on my iPhone by using the usb-c adapter on the camera. I then purchased a lightning to usb-c adapter off amazon. Plugging the two adapters in allows using the Mimo app without removing case. I only use this to download onto phone as it’s not stable to walk around with. Even if you plug directly into the camera it’s not that stable to use. You will need the accessorie that ties the 2 together. It shoots very stable movies even in the car handheld. I’m considering using a mounting base and using it at times for a dash cam in the car.

Arrived in timely fashion, well packaged.Plugged it into my iPhone with the supplied adapter, switched on the power button and the Mimo app fired right up. Registration/activation process was easy. Built in tutorials show you how to use the controls on your iPhone screen. I haven't really had a chance to film much with it, but I was initially quite impressed with the tracking feature. There's lots of different reviews and tips/helpful info on YouTube, so I recommend doing a search over there for additional info that may not be shown here.I purchased it for doing quick YouTube video tutorials, possibly vlogs, as well as for documenting an upcoming trip to Japan. I don't think the footage captured is "professional" quality, but for the average consumer like myself, I'm sure it'll do just fine. Given its small form factor, it will be extremely easy to take anywhere and everywhere for spontaneous filming.I did purchase a lightning extension cord so I can connect it to my iPad Mini 4 and use the latter as a remote control, and also a Small Rig Super Clamp, http://a.co/d/52OTx4d to serve as a little base/stand and to attach it to a small tripod, etc.
