This review is for the Mofily YoCam camera. This camera does not have the traditional look and feel of a GoPro or an industry copy action camera. I'll go through some of the features which I tested thoroughly. I'd highly recommend going to their website and checking their FAQ section. It provides valuable information and some troubleshooting steps. For instance, a beeping sound occurs each and every time you change camera settings. I wanted to turn it off but couldn't figure out how to. Their FAQ section provides step-by-step directions on how to accomplish this.YoCam cameraThe packaging was simple and only came with a few items -- YoCam camera, lanyard, charging cable and a clip. The camera looks like a perfect rectangular candy stick. On the side of the camera is where you'll find the power button, the wifi button and just beneath that is a door latch which accesses the USB port (for charging) and the microSD card slot. In keeping with industry standards, I was happy to see a quarter inch thread at the bottom of the camera. Makes it easy to mount to a tripod. The manufacturer also provided a clip that screws right into the quarter inch thread; which I used to clip right into my shirt whilst bike riding.YoCam AppThis app is made freely available in the App Store. It's the first thing I grabbed. Most of the features can be set and changed once you connect the app to the YoCam via WiFi. You can also see a live view of what you're shooting. You can take photos/videos and pretty much control everything related to the camera from this app. There is a convenient feature to save the captured footage directly to your smartphone, but I found that it was very slow. So instead, I just took microSD card out of the camera and transferred the files to my computer the old fashioned way.TIMELAPSEI specifically got this camera for its video capabilities and to do some time-lapse photography. Since the bottom of the camera has a quarter inch thread I screwed it into a motion time-lapse device and secured it to my tripod (see picture). The time-lapse starts at an interval rate of 3 seconds; so if you take a 30 minute time-lapse video, the clip length will be roughly 10 seconds. I would have liked an option for a shorter interval length.2K VIDEOExcellent video at 2K. I took some video while I was biking with image stabilization turned on. While the resolution was fantastic, the video still seemed shaky and I think it's because I simply had it clipped to my shirt. It needed to stay fixed so I think a handle bar mount would've come in handy.OTHER VIDEO MODESIn addition to 2K, the camera also features various resolutions including the ability to shoot at 120fps when set to 720p. That mode is best for slow motion when post processing the video. The camera also features a dedicated slow motion mode that you can set on the YoCam app.IMAGE QUALITYThe images taken with this camera looked good when I reviewed them on my computer. However, the highest resolution offered is 8 megapixels and all images shot have that fish-eye look.BATTERYStill going, even after a day at the bike park.WATERPROOFI have not had a chance to test the waterproof capabilities but the manufacturer states that it is waterproof up to 30ft.WISH LISTThis product just hit the ground running. But, I'd love to see the manufacturer develop the following features on the next version.- LCD display- 4K video- 720p @ 240fps- Higher image resolution- Time-lapse interval of 1 sec or less- Improve file transfer rate to smartphone- Lens protection- Accessories & mountsIn closing just want to say this camera is great and stands in a class of its own! A worthy debut in an increasingly competitive action camera market and I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this camera.I received the product directly from the manufacturer to provide my honest opinion. Please let me know if you have any questions by leaving a comment. Thanks for taking the time to read this review.

The quality is okay, but you get what you pay for. It could use some better attachments for clothing. Overall, I would say it’s worth the price, but don’t expect anything too fancy.

I love this camera for shooting hummingbirds up close, and other wildlife in all kinds of weather. Just wish the internal battery lasted longer, but that’s not a problem since I use multiple cameras.

Excellent product!! Really happy with this cam. Recommended!

While I am waiting for our Great wolf lodge trip.I am using this as a baby monitor and it works great.Good buy for my money. Very small that i can carry around, even my 6 year old loves to use it..

I picked up a YoCam during the Kickstarter campaign and am glad to have done so! It's been convenient for three applications:* Underwater video* Timelapse videos* Recording during workshops that I leadThe latter was a surprising benefit in that it's small and unobtrusive. It's less intimidating for, say, presentation skills participants. Instead of staring into a bigger video camera, they don't hardly even notice the YoCam.I would have been glad to give 5 stars, but there's room to make the app more intuitive. And the audio codec isn't very standard--you'll likely have to convert the video to hear it on Windows. That's not a big deal but it's worthy of losing a star.Glad to be an owner for the last year!NOTE: The underwater video I include here looks so much better than it renders here. The quality you see here is a function of what Amazon does after they process it.... The video was taken using the slow motion capability of the YoCam.
